5 Ridiculous Ideas to Improving Indian School Education
Everyone nowadays wants to tell teachers “How should they teach?” without truly understanding the challenges a teacher faces every day. Thanks to our some self-inspirited teachers who and work continuously to build their nations.
Anyway, here are those 5 ideas (or initiatives) for a teacher, parent, student or the school manager which can significantly improve school education.
- Making Attendance System Smarter.
Just for a second. Try to imagine taking attendance with your mobile; synchronized with a bigger school database. You don’t have to waste time in writing everything on registers and then on excel.
It may look weird but may be really powerful and time-saving act.
- Starting Using Learning Management Systems.
You might have heard it hundred times if not thousands. Using Moodle, WordPress LMS or similar may do amazing things.
Because when you are not working to develop your system, someone else is doing. Students are moving to the online sources like Youtube and online websites. Better if you do it quickly.
LMS will not only help you to connect with your students but will also provide teachers to save their time. It may increase their earning (so the happiness) too.
- Online Discussion Portals
Students want to discuss doubts, career talks, confessions and perhaps many more things. They have already made their personal groups to do all these things. How about making an official one.
This might also help them to share their personal problems and finding solutions. After all, school is the second family they have got.
- Accept What is Wrong With You
It may sound silly but if students are talking in class, it’s not their fault. Teachers should focus on content and self-presentation. The teacher is a leader. People first listen to you and then what you are saying.
Let them listen to you. Improve yourself so that they don’t like wasting their time on talking.
- Group Meetings with Students
Whether you are a good teacher or not. They love to talk to you. They listen when you speak. How about taking small meetings for their career guidance and self-introspection.
You never know what problems they are facing in their lives. Try to understand them. Even to those back-benchers who might abuse you on your back. You know it, right! There will be a time when they will miss you.
